Nakation News – Best Nudist Beaches in Spain

Holidayresources.com have listed their top 15 nude beaches in Spain.  Heres a guide to top 11 on mainland Spain:

1. La Mar Bella, Barcelona

2. Waikiki or Cala Fonda, La Mora, Tarragona

The Bare Beaches book provides the following information on this beach:

“Not one but a couple of pretty naturist coves go by the names of Cala de la Roca Plana and Cala Fonda – often simply referred to as Waikiki.  They are off the beaten track and attract a lively young crowd.  The unspoilt little bays are backed by pinewoods and have great swimming but no lifeguard.  Some buff bathers use the yellow mud on the cliff as a skin toning treatment.  Take your own refreshments and sun shade.

The coves are between Platja Llarga and La Mora.  Take the N340 east out of Tarragona, and in a short distance (near km marker 1168) turn right for Punta de la Mora and follow the signs to Camping Torre de la Mora.  From the approach to the campsite a footpath strikes off to the right, up into the woods and has small guiding arrows.  During the summer months simply follow the other visitors.  The walk to the first cove (Cala de la Roca Plana) is almost a mile.  Cala Fonda is just beyond”.

3. Platgetes de Bellver (Castellon), Valencia

This beach is located to the north of Benicassim.  The official tourist website for Valencia states the following:

After the yacht port, a craggy and woody coast follows, where small and inaccessible creeks can be found before arriving in the zone known as Platgetes. These are two closed creeks located in a quiet residential area consisting of single-family houses and villas. There is a nudism area situated near the rail-way of Oropesa.

4. Playa los Tusales, La Marina, Guardamar

The Bare Beaches book provides the following information on this beach:

“A pale sandy beach backed by dunes and pinewoods near La Marina.  Popular with families, this delightfully unspoilt beach has more than 2km for naked bathing – room for everyone to find their own space.

To get to the beach drive south from Alicante through Santa Pola on the N332 to La Marina.  Turn left down the lane next to Camping Internacional and after 1.5km at the car park turn right.  From the end of the car park, south to the river Segura, the beach is au natural,”

7.  Canos de Meca, Barbate

The Bare Beaches book provides the following information:

“This is a picturesque and popular golden sandy beach backed by natural low cliffs on the edge of the Brena Natural Park.  The traditionally nude beach has a friendly atmosphere and is popular with young people.

To get to the beach drive south through the village of Canos de Meca to the end of the road by the Hostal Mar Frente.  A path and steps lead down to the beach in less than two minutes.”

9.  Playa de Combouzas, La Coruna

The Bare Beaches book provides the following information:

This lovely unspoilt white sand Galician bay is a favourite with local naturist, attracting upwards of 500 naked bathers in the summer.  This official nudist location has lifeguards, a beach bar, showers and toilets.”
